What is the acceleration of free fall on the moon of that on the Earth?

This demonstrated Galileo’s discovery that, in the absence of air resistance, all objects experience the same acceleration due to gravity. On the Moon, however, the gravitational acceleration is approximately 1.63 m/s², or only about ¹⁄₆ that on Earth.
